Elements and Performance Criteria
- Maintain proper custody of aircraft, aeronautical product and support equipment
- Aircraft and aeronautical product are maintained and/or stored in facilities or circumstances that comply with regulatory requirements, and organisational policies and procedures
- Special test equipment is stored in appropriate environmental conditions and calibration is carried out at required intervals
- Ground support equipment is stored and operated in an environment that will prevent undue deterioration or wear
- Storage and control requirements are observed for hazardous and controlled materials
- Maintenance records and documentation are maintained in accordance with regulatory requirements, and organisational policies and procedures
- Transfer aircraft, aeronautical product and support equipment between organisations
- Aircraft, aeronautical product and support equipment are transferred between organisations in accordance with regulatory requirements, and organisational policies and procedures
- Documentation and maintenance records are transferred between organisations in accordance with regulatory requirements, and organisational policies and procedures
- Dispose of aircraft, aeronautical product and support equipment
- Aircraft, items of aeronautical product and support equipment are correctly classified for disposal and appropriate documentation is compiled to allow disposal in accordance with regulatory requirements, and organisational policies and procedures
- Aircraft and items of aeronautical product are prepared as directed for disposal
- Maintenance records and documentation are retained and stored in accordance with regulatory requirements, and organisational policies and procedures
